I feel like this has become the Astellia Online Asper

Oct-11-2019 PST Astellia Online

I'm going to be really honest with you. I'm not saying you're wrong, but this reads exactly like the threads that came just before Bless hit. "It's not that bad" is not the same as "It's good".

I feel like this has become the Astellia Online Asper norm now with MMOs nowadays, since the market is now basically devoid of new games, anything starts to look "good" when you are clamoring for anything new. Not saying that OP is wrong, the game COULD turn out to be good, but even in a desert, a muddy, stagnant oasis is still an oasis.

I played it and the Performance he says it's not excellent although good for a UE3 mmo... Also as positive looks like it got some love with English VO, and about the combat he says it's good well I found it boring (scholar lvl 13) (had 9 skills)Exactly what I was thinking reading this. "It's not that bad" isn't exactly a resounding endorsement, it's basically saying "I guess it's ok if you don't have anything better to do."

What is hard to swallow is the fact that they made a f2p game as b2p just to monetize in the dry of mmo market, and with 7 DAYS head start.

Yeah, but this is a western publisher, I get they can easily make it p2w easily but I don’t believe they will, it all hinges on player base I think.

That's some of the biggest MMOs getting big changes and updates where it doesn't really make much sense to start a completely new game, most people are going to wait to see how the dust settles. Waiting is going to make the game population lower, specially because its B2P (and most people have access to one of the games i mentioned), this is Astellia skills going to make the game struggle which will force them to eventually make it F2P.

The F2P expectation will further lower incentive to buy it now, thus forcing the game even lower.

If they came out with the game a few months ago, or even a few months further into the future (like in december or even next year) they would prob fare better.

Just bumping to let you know that it's intentional that they released it during that timing, they did the same exact thing releasing it shortly after lost ark and became a laughing stock as the game died to a point where even botters would quit the game.

The game is clearly not worth it's price and has a big chance of turning F2P and P2W as well. This is just another Bless-style cashgrab attempt in the west since the game is doing poorly in korea. True MMO players should have way higher standards these days.
