OSRS: Best Achievement Diaries for Improving Your QoL

Mar-31-2025 PST runescape

Achievement diaries are sets of tasks you will need to perform in specific regions across Gielinor. After you complete the full set of tasks, speaking to specific NPCs will reward you with an achievement diary item specific to the region. For example, the Falador shield one or the Wilderness sword 2, an XP lamp, and various unlocks can make the difference for you regarding the quality of life or OSRS GP. Some of these upgrades will give you more value from the time spent playing on your OSRS accounts for sale.

Even though there are specific diaries you can complete to help you achieve more OSRS GP directly, these will directly affect your quality of life rather than directly affect how much OSRS gold you can get. OSRS is a wonderful game, but some actions can get repetitive and pointless, and you can prevent a lot of frustration by completing particular achievement diaries. You will need specific skill levels, OSRS items, or even quests completed to perform these tasks.

Desert Diary

The elite desert diaries are one of the easiest elite achievement diaries to complete as a non-ironman account. With the diary completed, you'll get access to a shortcut within the Kalphite Queen's layer, which will dramatically shorten the time to bank and back to the boss. You will also get unlimited teleports to the shrine in Nardah, which many players use to restore their prayer points, run energy, and special attacks, similar to the ornate pool inside the player-owned house. However, praying here instead will increase your hitpoints slightly above your HP level, which can be crucial in PvMing or bossing.

Varrock Diary

The medium Varrock diary will improve your quality of life by allowing you to toggle the Varrock teleport as a Grand Exchange teleport, which can be extremely useful for non-ironman and ironman accounts.

Kourend and Kebos Diary

The Kourend and Kebos diary is a rather challenging elite diary to aim for because it has pretty demanding requirements, including a high Slayer and Woodcutting level. However, you will get amazing benefits, such as unlimited teleports to Mount Karluum and the ability to fight the monsters inside it without wearing boots of stone or boots of brimstone. This can be very useful if you choose Konar as your main slayer master or do Konar every 10 tasks for the points. You will also get an increased amount of points per task. Completing this elite diary will also be handy when fighting the Alchemical Hydra, as you can use better boots, such as the Primordial Boots, when fighting it.

On top of this, you will receive the best-in-slot item for the ammunition slot, Rada's blessing 4, which will be your best friend regardless of your combat activity. This item will also help you while fishing because it will give you a slight chance at receiving two fish at once without getting the experience for the second catch. There are more benefits to completing this achievement diary, such as getting the full prayer XP from the ashes scattered by the ash sanctifier that you'll obtain with the hard tier of the same diary. Another great benefit is a 10 percent reduced chance to burn what you're cooking in the kitchen in Hosidius, which is a much better spot for cooking than the Lumbridge kitchen that can grant the same 10 percent bonus because the bank and the range are at the same level.

Lumbridge and Dryanor Diary

The elite Lumbridge and Dryanor diary is one of the best account milestones because of the quality of life improvements you'll get. Still, it is quite a challenging goal to achieve because of the very high requirements. However, completing this diary will unlock the 6th slot for blocking slayer monsters and permanently free an inventory spot by allowing you to use the fairy ring transportation system without wielding a lunar or Dramen staff. And this will be an advantageous endgame whether you are raiding, bossing, or solving clue scrolls.

Fremennik Diary

The elite Fremennik diary will help you gain an extra inventory spot for activities on the lunar island because you will no longer need the seal of passage. You'll also benefit when facing the Dagannoth kings as they will drop their bones in noted form, and you'll gain unlimited teleports to Rellekka on the Fremennik sea boots 4. You will also be able to teleport to Netiznot and Jatizso with the enchanted lyre. All of this is especially useful as an Ironman account.

Morytania Diary

Lastly, completing the hard Morytania diary will give you one of the best and most extensively used non-tradeable items: the Bonecrusher. This will improve your quality of life by helping you get passive Prayer XP when killing monsters that drop bones, which will also save you some OSRS gold you'd spend to train Prayer. You will also get unlimited teleports to Burgh de Rott, which can be extremely useful as the closest teleport to many activities, such as Temple Trekking, cremating shades, or sanctifying oil, as well as a few clue scroll steps.
