Very hyped for this game. Been wanting to try it, PSO2 Meseta through the whole process of making the JP version work. Hopefully, it's one of those f2p games that allows you to work towards cosmetics. Oh,and not p2w.

That's good to know. I'd be content on the game being free of p2w. As for cosmetics, I'm pretty open-minded about it. Like, I understand the game needs to make a profit. So, I wouldn't complain about the gacha.

Past Phantasy Star games didn't have servers in Asia aside from the Japanese servers. You may still be able to play as I doubt the game will have region locking, but you'll be playing on servers in the US as with past PS games.I dont think so, the IP block is from Sega of Japan's end done at the request of AsiaSoft (I dunno why the block is still active). A VPN may not be necessary, but we'll just have to wait and see.

When people say raunchy costumes what are they talking about? Granted I didn't dip that far into PSO2 when I played it a few years ago, but nothing looked out of place or porn-y. Just typical anime cleavage. Did they take it farther than that?

The reason there's no confirmed EU release is probably due to legal stuff and infrastructure, not translations.so no eu release because of translation everybody for doing this its not like people from the eu dont know how to read english and for those who cant read it fuck you guys.

I got bad feeling this might never come to Europe or worse server wont even be part of north America’s allso that stupid law on loot boxes is another issue.You get small amount of perks for playing es, and it's not really content that's related to the main game other than the es storage, which they don't have to include into a new server.

I'd argue there's a lot more to es than just the extra es storage. while soul receptors and factor receptors aren't as important now as they were a year or two ago, they are still exclusive to es. you also have some cosmetic stuff such as king/queen rappy suit, and a bunch of lobby actions that come from es.

You also have some 13* weapon series that come exclusively from Phantasy Star Online 2 Meseta reddit es such as arion and dominatio, even if those weapons are really only relevant if you're playing es. (same for the 11/12* sub units).

Not to mention the daily rewards, excubes, room goods ( panels etc from events like gene ) exp tickets, and free mesa + the stuff u can use to do gachas as well at times for free AC stuff to import in game.
