Taking buy wow classic gold in a completely different direction

Dec-25-2019 PST WOW Classic

People's minds would be blown if the first expansion was actually something new, taking buy wow classic gold in a completely different direction.

If Classic actually "works" and delivers what players want and is deemed a success in Acti/Blizz's eyes then I see no reason why they wouldn't roll out TBC and then Wrath in 2-3 year intervals.

I don't get why people feel the need to just throw out what, where, and how they farm. I guess they are okay with increasing the competition and reducing the overall amount of gold they themselves make.Yeah that was always weird. "No one knows about this place to farm sooo here ya go youtube".

That said I found a great spot to farm today on a pserver and really hoping the item drop rate/sell price is the same in Classic because I was able to make 15g an hour at level 36. So Thatll be my mount farming spot.

Hey guys! So some back story here, I used to farm a ton in vanilla when I wasnt raiding. By the time mid 2005 came, I had around 20k raw gold and another 10k+ in sellable materials from the many different farms I used to do.

I've decided ill be going over many different possible ways to obtain gold in classic, as well as other classic content. If there is something specific you guys would want to see, let me know.Figured I'd start off with probably one of the more important farms leading up for molten core.

The guide is quite useless in my opinion as it does not consider the amount of players in an area the first weeks. So farming a spot efficiently is just almost impossible as you have a lot of competition.

So let give me you the good tips and maybe others can do as well:- If you don't spent gold you earn gold (so not even past 40 you should buy some shit from the AH, while you may wear it longer it just is not needed as you either farm low level areas for grind further to 60.

- We all want our mounts when we hit 40 but not everyone is lucky, if you missing quite some gold I would not bother farming for example the badlands but just continue as higher level quests also give out more gold as rewards.

- Getting 2 gathering professions like herbalism/mining together with skinning will give you quite some gold but like I said it all depends on how well you can level your skills and you should check out the guides so you don't move to a new area where you cannot gather most of the ores or herbs.

Leveling a profession can be worth it but that also depends on how much time you want to spent in towns selling and buying materials.

I think the problem is that most of these guides don't take into account its a completely fresh server and every server is overpopulated.

Most people are going to want to buy their own level 40 and 60 mounts before they go around buying your ore, herbs, or leather off the AH and there is going to be thousands of other players also listing ore, herbs, and leather driving down the price a lot.

We had a Hunter Raidleader/Master looter steal our first sulfuron legendary eye because the Tard didn't realise Hunters could not use maces.

Thankfully we had a very nice raid leader - I got Eye of Shadow on my very first run, because he said it's the biggest upgrade for me. Man, was I excited and man were the other priests pissed.

I remember playing classic as a hunter, picking up every weapon I could, and being furious that I couldn't use maces. I wanted aaaall the weapons.

You joke, but it really was a pain in the ass getting a great melee weapon as a hunter in vanilla. I really wanted that Dal Rend set, but would never have dreamed of taking it from a rogue. Later I changed and looked for a good 2 hander for pvp, but it was hard to find a warrior cool with me rolling for one (That sword dropped in Dire Maul was so sexy).

If you tried any of the private servers people are much more understanding nowadays. The DM 2h sword is basically bis for hunters and nobody will question you rolling for it.

That's good to know. With the hunter reputation in Vanilla, I was too scared to push the boundary most of the time. I might actually try a vanilla server now. I had thought about it before, but the fear of losing everything when the server gets taken down has made me avoid it for the past few years.

Wasn't that in BC? I can't imagine a hunter wanting that, either way. Hell, I felt bad on rolling for really good items for me if they were a bigger upgrade for a warrior.

Pretty sure a hunter on Stormreaver had a thunderfury late in the game. Watching tanks rant every time they saw him was kind of funny.

I played a hunter back in the day and I'm still bitter about reddit comments a warrior that rolled need on a bow with agility on it. It was exactly the upgrade I needed too.
