MLM and Roof Top agility still stand as hallmarks of OSRS gold

I really wish we could see Jagex at least survey the return of Player Designed Content. MLM and Roof Top agility still stand as hallmarks of OSRS gold, and I'm sad that we've moved away from letting the community contribute on that level. It was really special and rewarding for us as a community.

A concern of mine is that the data from a lot of the questions will be irrelevant, specifically the ones about the direction of Jagex. Many people will mistake "Jagex" with "OSRS dev team" and respond accordingly. Many people will not make that assumption and vote oppositely.

It was a great survey, one of the big reasons I play osrs is the fact that it's primarily community driven.Anyone else read the quest list and just remember how nice literally all the quest lines including the Kourend quests are.

Hey man, they might not be the most fun quests right now, but the Kourend questline is one of the questlines with the most potential in terms of lore with all the worldbuilding they've done with it, especially with teasers for Xeric's return and all of Varlamore likely to come.

I was doing the survey on mobile and the image dragging portion caused me to be unable to complete the survey.I wanted less solo slayer bosses and more group boss content and no to any PvP that wasn't item safe like pvp in other mmos.

Felt like starting a riot when I saw foraging wasn't on the list of potential skills smh but I'm deluded enough to believe its because they don't want to blow the lid on it because its secretly being prototyped as I type.

I like this just as a big sneak peak onto what possibilities are. Looks like the optional graphics overhauls are a big priority, and new skills (including things like necromancy and, especially cool sounding to me, archeology) are very much on the table.

That being said, I do feel like some of my answers weren’t entirely faithful. A lot of questions as like “which of these would you like the most?”, but in a pretty old school player and I’m not huge on most updates, so it’s hard.

Lastly, in the “why do you Like to play?” Section I thought it was really interesting that there’s no “social aspect” option. Totally just not even part of the game anymore.

Hat you don't need to use dodgy third party questionnaire companies, that ask for your e-mail, account name and other identifiable information.I honestly felt that the survey was pretty good, its nice to get these sorts of surveys going to give the team a direction of what needs to happen, let the player base be heard.

I had some issue with the level of nuance in questions, but that can tend to be an issue with any survey. On mobile there was an issue with scrolling for the graphics question, and while optional, asking for email and phone seemed like a bit much. I really think some of their ideas for skills would be great if turned into mini-games if fleshed out

properly.

About to blow my lid maaaate. Got to the part about ranking the different styles of how osrs should look and on mobile once you scroll down you can scroll anymore cause everywhere you click amd drag does it to the pictures. Can't move them at all let alone scroll down to continue the survey.

I like that you put ancient spellbook as a reason to be a member but not lunar spellbook. Kid me would be ecstatic at the ability to use stuff like spin flax, tan hides, or npc contact.

I'm a massive advocate for new osrs graphics ... but not quite for old school as such. I think the way old school is, and as the name suggest it would be weird and kind of uneeded to now change the graphics. But what I would love to see if a "reimagined" style of osrs with 3d grahpics, WASD movement, a new engine - completely rebuilt from the ground up with map improvements and more skills. In my opinion something like this would just re-hype runescape and it would be the goat mmo.
