I would also go as far to push an additional problem being color schemes. Lots of purple and high contrast items. For example the dragonstones armour has the purple gems(which is fine, they are dragonstones after all) but they are beveled with a black/ grey color causing them to contrast with the rest of the armour.

Traditional gear and scenery in Rsgoldfast OSRS gold uses a muted color pallet often taking complimentary colors a shade up or down from the base color. Making items feel much less jarring and much more simple and smooth.
